I think someone sent their friend cancer my way, 'cause all my shit started breaking!! An evil worm killed both my computers, my washing machine broke, the lawnmower, my answering machine, the thing that unlocks my car door automatically, UGHH!
It's hard enough to keep on top of things when it's running smooth, but when it all falls apart, it's Hell. You're working overtime to pay for the things that broke, 'cause you live paycheck to paycheck and you aint got no savings. And you get into figths with your spouse 'cause tensions are high, and you're running like hell to catch up! There's a song in here somewhere. But........... A BIG FAT WAAAH, there's bigger problems in the world than mine.
Hang in there sweety, it will all be over soon.

Hey there mrsweezer, sorry to hear that things aren't goig too smoothly. I will be profound and quote some of my favorite non-Social D lyrics....
There is always sunshine
Far above the grey sky
I know that I will find it
Yes, I will try

I don't know who originally said this, but I heard it last in the movie Uptown Girls, "for every end there's a new beginning". I have a much better computer now and a huge thanks goes out to my inlaws for pitching in!!

There is no video of the song, but I was surprised to find a live version on YouTube. The song is called
A Fire in the Forest
Its by David Sylvian. Not exactly a punk rock song tho. But it means something to me, but I won't go into that here...

But the other day I found out that my son's friend who lives in our neighborhood, HIS PARENTS also went to the SD concert. I partied with them last night and had a fricken blast. They're a lot younger than me, but I met his Dad who's 4 yrs. older than me. What fun he was...too bad he lives in CA. It's cool how Social D brings people together!!!
